POSTPONED! U.S. CanArctic Business Mission to Yellowknife Northwest Territories
The two-day event will provide an opening networking program to facilitate new connections and strengthen existing ones between U.S. and Canadian Indigenous groups, government organizations and business groups.
The first day will focus on business briefings and panel sessions featuring representatives from the municipal government, GNWT, and Indigenous development corporations. Additionally, the program will provide an opportunity for the U.S. delegates to showcase their solutions and demonstrate how they can be applied in Northern Canada.
At the conclusion of the U.S. company presentations, there will be a focused B2B matchmaking event to follow up on leads generated during the day.
On the second day, the U.S. delegates will be invited to participate in offsite events to further explore and learn about Yellowknife and the greater Northwest Territories.
The Commercial Service (CS) Canada has been focused on Arctic programming for several years to showcase the emerging opportunities in Canada's north to interested U.S. exporters.

The capital of the Northwest Territories, Yellowknife, is a remarkably cosmopolitan city of roughly 21,000 people, including a large First Nations, Inuit and Métis population. Yellowknife serves as the commercial supply hub for projects and communities across the entire NWT, which more than doubles the size of the market.
With a committed, stable government dedicated to helping businesses succeed and the economy thrive, abundant resources and the interest of major development and tourist companies around the world, the Northwest Territories has incredible potential. Opportunities abound in tourism, technology, oil and gas, mining and more.
